I am a Junior Research Group Leader (DFG Emmy Noether Programme) at the University of Potsdam, Germany.
I work on questions at the intersection of movement ecology, community ecology, and quantitative ecology. To answer these, I combine empirical research, theoretical modelling approaches (mathematical and computer-based modelling), as well as research into the statistical methods used to analyse ecological data, in particular animal tracking data. To find out more, have a look here.
I am supported in my research by a great team of people who I appreciate for their persistent and creative work and input on all matters of research and beyond.
