In a nutshell

I have a passion for stats, math, ecology, nature in general and birds in particular. By now, I have managed to bring all of this together in my research and teaching, in various combinations.

I also have a passion for bicyles and biking but this is not part of my work. If you'd like to collaborate on this, please feel free to reach out. 🙂

Below you'll find a selection of the central aspects of my academic life.
